APG Workforce is a national employer of choice supplying a flexible workforce to industries who promote safety and wellbeing as priorities.
Based in the Hanwood Area, we are currently looking for a Mill Loader to join the expanding Feed Mill Team in an ongoing role.
The successful candidate must be flexible in their ability to work rotating shift patterns
5am to 5pm Rotating 12-hour shifts DAYS and NIGHTS- weekends included
This position would suit someone looking for a long-term career.
NO short-term applicants will be considered.
Key responsibilities:
- Loading feed trucks
- Sampling intake and finished feed products
- Drive a forklift to licensed standards
- Perform basic warehouse tasks
- Assist in basic maintenance tasks
- Sample products, conduct standard QA tests and record results
- Operate mill systems as per site task instructions
- Unloading of bagged products
- Filling of ingredient bins and liquid storage
- Experience in a Feed Mill would be helpful but not essential.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts weekends and overtime as required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with confidence and the ability to exercise sound judgement skills.
- Conscious of safe methods of always working and a commitment to a safe working environment.
- A current Driver's Licence and own reliable transport
- No birds, pigs, or chickens at your place of residence
- Forklift ticket desired
