Principal Engineer - Websites

We're seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of the websites and subscriber portals at this leading financial services firm.

You will play a critical role on a large digital transformation, with a focus on scalable architecture, technical leadership, and modern, data-driven solutions across multiple product domains.

In this amazing role you'll shape the technology direction on greenfield web projects, as you define architectural patterns, and draw on your full stack technical skills to deliver high-performance, secure, and customer-centric digital experiences.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and continuous improvement in a regulated, fast-paced environment.

To be successful in one of these roles you will need:

  • Extensive relevant Web/Subscriber development capabilities
  • Strong solution architecture, service design, and full lifecycle product development
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Proven background in financial services or similar regulated environments

Deep technical knowledge in:

  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
  • Scalable systems, CI/CD, microservices, integration & secure coding practices
  • Programming languages & frameworks such as Java, .NET, JavaScript, Python, React, , SQL
