About the Role:
Due to growth in the business, Territory Timber & Hardware is seeking a Truss Plant Manager to lead and oversee our truss manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for managing production, ensuring quality control, optimising workflow, and driving efficiencies across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end truss manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Lead and mentor a team of fabricators and production staff.
- Ensure the plant has adequate stock levels for continuous workflow.
- Manage scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.
- Review and adjust truss plans to ensure accuracy and compliance before quotes are issued to customers.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
- Drive business growth through strong leadership and operational excellence.
About You:
- Proven experience in truss manufacturing, construction, or timber industries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Forklift Licence (Preferred).
