The role:
We are seeking a passionate Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be fostering strong relationships with families and ensuring every child's experience is outstanding. You will be supported every step of the way by the dedicated management team with access to the tools and resources you need to thrive.
The position is available on either a full time or part time basis.
About us:
Learning Wonderland has been a pillar of early childhood education since 2009. Our center accommodates up to 39 children each day across three distinct groups: Nursery, Toddlers, and Preschoolers. We are dedicated to Inquiry-based learning, employing educational approaches that emphasis investigation and problem-solving. Adhering to the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), we provide a high-quality educational experience tailored to foster growth and development in a supportive and enriching environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the centre to provide a positive and enriching experience for all children and ensure compliance with childcare regulations.
- Leading, supporting, and inspiring a team of passionate educators.
- Ensuring full compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and all relevant childcare regulations.
- Building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with children, families.
- Handling administrative responsibilities such as enrolments, emails, and accounts.
- Maintaining a high standard of service quality, aligned with national guidelines and best practices.
- Promoting open communication and ongoing engagement with families to support children's development and wellbeing.
What we are Looking for:
- Extensive experience in a Director role, minimum 2+ years experience.
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Proven leadership experience in an early childhood setting.
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQS, EYLF, and Regulations).
- Current NSW Employee Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Child Protection & Asthma/Anaphylaxis training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a desire to make a difference.
