We're looking to expand our team with a motivated Senior Tax Accountant who will play a key role in managing tax compliance, advisory, and complex business structuring projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise tax compliance work, ensuring timely ATO submissions, including tax returns, GST, FBT, and activity statements.
• Prepare and review financial statements following current legal and reporting standards.
• Conduct tax compliance reviews, manage complex issues, and develop tax strategies aligned with client goals.
• Coordinate workflows, assist with deadline management, and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Support business structuring, including establishing trusts, private companies, ASIC management, and land tax compliance.
• Engage directly with ATO, ASIC, and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients, drafting clear and professional correspondence.
• Identify opportunities for client profitability improvement and increased operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in taxation, ideally within a public practice environment.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws, including Div 7A, UPE, GST, and small business tax concessions.
• Strong skills in Microsoft, HandiSoft, XERO Tax & PM, and MYOB.
• CA or CPA qualification (or working towards completion).
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
