About the Role

A 6-month contract opportunity is available for an
Integration Engineer
to join a collaborative enterprise technology team responsible for modernising and consolidating a suite of business applications. The work involves integrating multiple existing systems into a single, streamlined platform, improving consistency, performance, and maintainability across the organisation.

You'll focus on designing, building, and maintaining API-driven and event-based integrations using
MuleSoft
or
WebMethods
. The role requires strong technical oversight, ensuring integrations are well-structured, secure, and aligned with established standards. You'll work closely with architects, developers, and data teams to ensure seamless interoperability across platforms and reliable data flow between systems.

This position offers a hybrid arrangement with only one day per week in the office, providing both flexibility and close collaboration with a highly skilled team.

You Should Have

  • Strong experience in enterprise integration and system interoperability
  • Proven hands-on expertise with MuleSoft or WebMethods (essential)
  • Sound understanding of integration patterns, microservices, and API management
  • Experience across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, troubleshooting, and performance tuning practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Perth or Brisbane based, available to start soon

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to middleware such as Solace, StreamSets, or other integration tools
  • Knowledge of AWS or Azure integration services
  • Experience in large-scale, enterprise environments
  • Background in Agile or DevOps delivery models
