Bertas is a specialty sandwich and coffee shop in Marrickville. We care about great food, excellent coffee, and creating a welcoming experience for our customers.

The Role:

We're looking for an experienced barista who can work confidently in a busy environment, keep standards high, and bring good energy to the team.

What You'll Do:

  • Make excellent espresso, batch, and filter coffee.
  • Dial in and keep coffee consistent throughout service.
  • Deliver friendly, efficient customer service.
  • Keep the bar area clean and well-organized.
  • Jump in to help with front-of-house tasks when needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of barista experience in specialty coffee.
  • Solid skills in espresso, milk texturing, and brew methods.
  • Able to stay calm and fast on your feet during busy periods.
  • Reliable, positive, and a strong team player.
  • Available weekends.
