u&u Recruitment Partners is excited to partner with a well-established and highly recognised global OEM in the materials processing sector, to recruit this newly created role of Sales Manager – East Coast Australia.  This leading brand has a strong presence globally and throughout Australia, with a diverse product and service offering that includes capital equipment, parts and servicing across a wide range of crushing and screening equipment and conveyor systems. 

The role
Reporting to the Australian Manager, this is hands-on sales leadership role that will lead and guide the east coast capital sales team and play a key role in driving the next stage of growth within Australia.

More specifically, you will be involved in the following,

  • Leading, guiding, coaching and supporting a team of Regional Sales Managers based across QLD, NSW and VIC;
  • Working as the national quarry sector lead including market strategy and key customer management;
  • Developing and overseeing a sales management structure including customer calls plans, account management, budgets and KPI's;
  • Utilising customer and market insights to develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns to drive ongoing growth;
  • Supporting the sales team to close larger deals, while also working directly with key customers to understand their evolving needs;
  • Overseeing the company's CRM system to ensure key customer data and insights are captured  and utilised; and
  • Prepare and oversee budgets and providing accurate reporting, forecasting and sales reports to senior management.

Required skills / Experience

  • 5 + years of progressive sales and sales leadership experience, with demonstrated experience achieving sales growth;
  • Relevant related industry experience in the crushing & screening, general construction machinery or the quarrying sector;
  • Highly motivated, with a strong desire to drive growth and progress your career;
  • Customer focused, with strong problem-solving skills;
  • Sound commercial skills, including the ability to prepare accurate budgets, forecasts, quotes and customer contracts;
  • Relevant degree qualifications or trade background (preferred); and
  • Willing to travel regularly throughout QLD, NSW and Victoria.
