How You Will Make An Impact As a Cook
- Responsible for the correct and hygienic preparation and serving of food.
- Responsible for maintaining and facilitating clean and hygienic work practices
- Preparation, serving, presentation, and delivery of food and refreshments in accordance with the Food Safety Program. (FSP)
- Prevent cross-contamination and properly prepare food to meet special dietary requirements, such as gluten and dairy intolerances, allergies and preferences.
- Liaise with Assist the Chef and/or Chef Manager to liaise with, residents and significant others for menu planning, food preparation and special occasions.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Experience in Aged Care (preferred)
- Qualification (Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery) and/or experience working as a Cook in Aged Care would be advantageous but not necessary
- Understanding of special dietary needs
- Exceptional customer service mindset
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
