• Cook and present meals according to menu standards
• Manage your section and deliver consistent, high-quality dishes
• Contribute to seasonal menu changes and specials
• Mentor and train junior/apprentice kitchen staff
• Demonstrate cooking techniques and share best practices with the team
• Monitor stock levels and support cost control initiatives
• Plan menus and order supplies as required
• Ensure compliance with OHS, HACCP, and food safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef in a comparable restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling, HACCP, and OHS standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills
• Passion for local produce, sustainability, and innovation
• Food Safety certification and solid understanding of OHS compliance
• Positive, team-focused attitude and a strong work ethic
