We have an opportunity available for a performance-driven, people-focused candidate who would like to become a driving instructor and join our team at Birrang Enterprise Development Company Ltd. This is your chance to begin a career in helping Aboriginal and disadvantaged people get results.

Responsibilities will include:

• Accountability to individual and team targets and meet weekly reporting deadlines.
• Deliver the learner driver program which caters specifically to the needs of Aboriginal and disadvantaged people
• Assist participants to remove pre – licence barriers (proof of identity, State Debt Recovery Office and literacy issues)
• Assist participants to prepare for the Driver knowledge test
• Increase the number of individuals entering the driver licensing system.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

• The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Held a full unrestricted Australian driver's licence for last 4 years
• Willingness to work away Monday - Friday (Travel allowance paid)
• Ability to take instructions and complete set tasks
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Basic computer and literacy skills
• A passion for helping people
• Exhibit a high level of personal presentation.
