The Opportunity

We are seeking an Architect/Designer with a strong design intuition, who is motivated to lead design concepts and translate ideas into buildable solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to be part of a dynamic team where you will shape exceptional projects and define a model of practice where design excellence drives delivery..

Key Responsibilities;

  • Support the design and development of a diverse range of projects across all phases – including conceptual, schematic, design development, detailed documentation.
  • Provide technical assistance to the project team throughout construction
  • Bring a strong design aesthetic whilst balancing form, function and the client brief, delivering well resolved architecture
  • Support communication with clients throughout the design phase.
  • Collaborate with consultants and suppliers throughout design and construction
  • Contribute to the efficient delivery of projects, ensuring all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations and safety and sustainability standards
  • Provide support to the Pre-Construction team with scope of works preparation and detailed D&C costing reviews.
  • Continuously drive best practice, process improvement and provide support to the growth and development of the design team, whilst promoting collaboration and integration with the broader business.

Skills & Experience

  • A recognised architectural qualification and/or registration as an Architect (or eligibility for registration) in SA.
  • 5-10 years' post-graduate experience, delivering projects from concept through construction, primarily in the high-end residential sector, with experience in commercial projects highly regarded.
  • Strong conceptual and technical design skills, with the ability to develop creative ideas into coordinated, buildable outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of the NCC/BCA, Australian Standards, and contemporary construction methods.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management software.
  • Understanding of contract administration and the delivery of projects within both D&C and traditional procurement models.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and attention to detail.
