We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and proactive full time Assistant Branch Manager (Banking 2IC) who will assist the Branch Manager in the day-to-day operations of our Macarther Squarebranch. This is a great opportunity for a banking or retail professional looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role
- Having conversations with customers face to face, via online channels and over the phone and helping them with their banking and insurance needs
- Exploring new opportunities to find the right financial solutions that may improve their position
- Assist in the management of the day-to-day operations and compliance requirements of the branch
- Supporting staff development and coaching
- Contributing to product and service initiatives/activities for the team and region
- Accept personal loan applications
- Maintaining a high level of operational adherence in line with company and regulatory standards, policies and procedures and carryout out administrative duties
- 2IC incentive scheme available.
The Person
- A genuine passion for providing great service and creating positive customer experiences
- Previous supervisory/team leader experience in retail, customer service or banking environment with a collaborative and enthusiastic leadership approach
- Some knowledge of, or experience in consumer lending (not essential if you have the desire to learn)
- Drive and commitment to achieve both personal and team targets
- Experience working in a retail/customer service environment with a proven sales track record
- An aptitude for technology and proficient in MS Office programs/apps
- Honesty and integrity and take pride in diligently following procedures and policy in a regulated financial environment.
