To be successful in obtaining a position with us as a Housekeeper you must have a current valid Australian driver's license. This is an essential requirement in order to obtain a Housekeeping position with us and if you do not have a current valid Australian driver's license we politely request that you do not apply. There is no requirement for applicants to have a vehicle, just a current valid Australian driver's license.

To join our team you will also have:

• Knowledge of safety in the workplace
• Strong work ethic and communication skills
• Extremely high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills
• The ability to work under pressure
• A national police clearance (or willing to obtain one)

Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience will be an advantage.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning guest rooms; including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and public areas to West Beach Parks high standards.
• Ensuring towels and linen are refilled, replaced and stored correctly
• Reporting maintenance requirements
• Reporting any lost property
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly
• Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes ensuring safe work practices are maintained

There are multiple positions available and they're offered on a casual basis and shifts are given on a rotating roster across the full 7 days of the week, including weekends and public holidays.
