About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and customer focused Internal Salesperson to join our friendly Sales team at our Wagga office. This role offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of steel distribution while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

You'll be involved in a variety of tasks including phone and counter sales, invoicing and purchasing, handling customer enquiries, and supporting general office duties. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role where your contribution makes a real impact every day.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide exceptional service to customers via phone and counter sales
  • Accurately process invoices and purchase orders
  • Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Assist with general office duties to support smooth sales operations
  • Support the team to maintain efficient and organised sales processes

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in sales or within the steel industry would be highly regarded
  • Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Perks Upon Successful Completion of Probation

Enjoy flexible working hours with a rotating roster: one week 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, the next week 7:30 am – 5:00 pm.
