Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Excavator Operator located in Adelaide, SA. The Excavator Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to perform excavation tasks, including trenching and earthmoving. Daily tasks involve equipment maintenance, operating machinery efficiently, and ensuring all work is performed safely and up to compliance standards. The operator will also be responsible for obtaining necessary permits and adhering to safety regulations on-site.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Equipment Operation and Heavy Equipment
  • Experienced in Excavation and Trenching tasks
  • Skills in Equipment Maintenance and upkeep
  • Ability to obtain necessary permits and work safely around services
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in equipment operation
  • Strong understanding of safety compliance and risk assessments
  • Experience with GPS tracking and 3D GPS capabilities is a plus
  • Relevant certifications and licenses for operating heavy equipment
