General Worker

ALL SCALE TREE SERVICES is a professional tree-care company providing pruning, removal, stump grinding, and emergency storm response across the greater Melbourne area. We focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and preserving the urban environment while delivering high-quality arborist services.

Role Overview

We are seeking a hardworking General Worker to support our arborist crews. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tree services and learn the skills required to grow into a climbing or equipment-operator role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with tree pruning, removals, and site clean-up.
• Load and unload equipment, tools, and green waste.
• Operate basic tools (chainsaws, chippers) under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform manual labour.
• Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or tree work is an advantage but not required.
• White Card (Construction Induction) or willingness to obtain.
• Current driver's licence preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: AU$28 – AU$36, depending on skills and experience (overtime available).
• Ongoing training in arboriculture and equipment operation.
• Opportunities for career progression into Climbing Arborist or Crew Leader roles.
• All required safety gear and PPE provided.
