NRS Refrigeration is a family-owned air conditioning and refrigeration business based in Wangara, WA. We specialise in the service, maintenance, and installation of all refrigeration and HVAC systems for both commercial and residential customers. We pride ourselves on delivering reliable, high-quality solutions with exceptional customer service.

We are seeking a skilledEstimator to join our team, with a focus on both service repairs and installation works. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive, long-established business with room to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes for HVAC service and installation projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, and site requirements to develop cost estimates
  • Prepare tender submissions and bids, including detailed cost estimates, scopes, and supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to source pricing and clarify requirements
  • Ensure all estimates meet company standards and client requirements
  • Work closely with our service and projects teams to ensure seamless handover of jobs
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing and trends
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations

Skills & Experience

  • Previous estimating experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical services
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and installation practices
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and technical documents
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with SimPRO (highly regarded but not essential)
