We provide world-class training and hands-on experience across a range of industries, including mining, power generation, and oil & gas.

About the Role:

As a Camco Mechanical Apprentice, you will work towards earning your Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in one of the following disciplines:

  • Mechanical Fitter and Machining
  • Mechanical Fitter
  • Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding)

What You Will Do:

  • Develop a wide range of mechanical engineering skills through workplace-based learning.
  • Stay committed to safety and personal wellbeing in all aspects of your work.
  • Complete tasks with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Adhere to company uniform and PPE requirements (even at TAFE).
  • Work with a supportive supervisor to tailor your learning program and gain practical, hands-on experience.
  • Complete a mechanical aptitude test and undergo a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
  • Hold a current Australian driver's licence for potential travel to work sites.
