PLUMBING APPRENTICESHIP

We are currently after 1st – 3rd year Plumbing apprentices for Cairns's area. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to be part of a major commercial construction project in Cairns, as well as gain exposure to domestic plumbing work — offering a well-rounded trade experience.

Applicants Must Meet the Following Criteria

• Be an Australian citizen or hold permanent residency status
• Hold a White Card
• Be punctual with a strong attendance record
• Be motivated, with a positive attitude and good communication skills
• Be reliable and follow instructions carefully
• Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements at all times
• Have a basic understanding of plumbing work and a genuine interest in the trade
• Be willing to learn all aspects of the plumbing trade to a high standard and within tolerances
• Be open to gaining experience across all facets of the trade
• Be comfortable working outdoors, including in hot weather conditions

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

• Completed a Certificate II in Plumbing or have prior trade experience (highly regarded)
• Possess labourer or trade assistant experience or relevant skill sets
• Hold a current driver's licence with reliable transport
