Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Physiotherapist who is ready for a new adventure.

About the role:

The Physiotherapy department at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital is looking for a hardworking, experienced and team-oriented Physiotherapist.

The Lymphoedema Physiotherapist is responsible for providing high quality care to those experiencing, or who are at risk of, experiencing lymphoedema.

The department has an L-Dex machine to monitor for fluid build-up following various surgeries as we play a key role in not only managing lymphoedema but preventing it. Our team currently consists of around 20 Physiotherapists who play a crucial role in the hospital and community settings.

Positions on offer:

  • Permanent Part Time (16 hours per week)
  • Temporary Part Time (8 hours per week until 30 June 2027)
  • Temporary Part Time (5 hours per week until 30 June 2029)

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a Tertiary Qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skills and experience within the required specialty area, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrated well-developed time management skills, written and verbal communication, and IT skills including an ability or willingness to use telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care.
