About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Surgical Nurse to join our dynamic surgical and implant team. You'll play a key role assisting our surgeons during procedures, ensuring the smooth flow of the surgical day, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the surgeon chairside during implant, extraction, and minor oral surgery procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, trays, and equipment
  • Ensure strict adherence to sterilisation and infection control protocols
  • Support patient care before, during, and after surgery
  • Maintain accurate surgical notes and records
  • Order and manage surgical supplies and inventory
  • Provide post-operative instructions and patient support
  • Collaborate closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient experiences

About You

  • Qualified Dental or Surgical Nurse (Cert III/IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience in surgical assisting or implant dentistry (preferred)
  • Excellent chairside manner and patient communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of infection control and surgical protocols
  • Calm under pressure with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and professional

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
