Established in 1996, Amalfi Mosaics is a leading Australian company specialising in the supply and installation of high-quality tiles, with a focus on swimming pools. We work on both residential and commercial projects, delivering detailed and professional finishes.

We are currently seeking a Skilled Pool Tiler to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. As a Pool Tiler at Amalfi Mosaics, you will be responsible for delivering premium-quality tile finishes for luxury swimming pools. The role requires precision, craftsmanship, and a strong eye for detail to meet the high standards our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be tiled
  • Mix and apply mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives
  • Set tiles in position and ensure accurate alignment
  • Use levels, squares, and straightedges to maintain precision
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles using hand and power tools
  • Grout, seal, and polish tiled surfaces
  • Lay mosaic tiles and create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
  • Mix, lay, and polish tile/terra surfaces
  • Cut, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • May assist in preparing cost estimates and ordering materials

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in wall and floor tiling, particularly in swimming pool applications at least 1-3 years of experience required
  • Skilled in using hand and power cutting/polishing tools
  • Experience in rendering swimming pools is essential
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Current driver's licence and own reliable transportation
  • Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated

Educational Qualifications & Training:

  • Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent trade qualification)
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card) required
  • Additional training or certification in waterproofing, mosaic installation, or pool tiling techniques will be highly regarded
