About the Role

We are seeking a Full-Stack Medical Device Engineer to pioneer the next generation of integrated medical diagnostic systems. This is a rare opportunity to work across the entire product stack – from PCB design and embedded firmware to mobile applications and cloud infrastructure.

If you are passionate about hardware innovation, real-time signal processing, and healthcare software ecosystems, this role allows you to take a concept from prototype → production → patient impact.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Development

  • Design and layout PCBs for multi-sensor medical devices (MEMS microphones, cameras, advanced sensors)
  • Prototype compact diagnostic hardware (otoscope, stethoscope, thermometer integration)
  • Develop embedded firmware and device drivers for wireless communication and sensor arrays
  • Implement real-time signal processing algorithms for medical audio and imaging
  • Create power management systems, charging circuits, and device positioning algorithms
  • Build interfaces for temperature sensors, LEDs, OTG connectivity, and cameras

Software & Integration

  • Build mobile applications (iOS/Android) for seamless device interaction
  • Develop drivers and communication protocols for hardware–software integration
  • Create APIs, web servers, and telemedicine platforms for real-time patient care
  • Implement secure authentication and live video consultation features
  • Integrate with healthcare billing, EMR/EHR, and pharmacy systems
  • Develop virtual examination tools with automated diagnostics

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • 2+ years end-to-end hardware + software engineering experience (concept → deployment)
  • Proven expertise in PCB design, embedded C/C++, and device drivers
  • Strong skills in Python, JavaScript, Swift/Kotlin (multi-platform software development)
  • Experience with wireless protocols, IoT, and sensor integration
  • Background in real-time audio processing & signal processing
  • Hands-on exposure to manufacturing, compliance, and hardware deployment
  • Knowledge of cloud APIs, mobile app development, and healthcare integrations

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $200.00 – $300.00 per day
