Experienced Butcher

Jackson's Provedores is seeking qualified, experienced, passionate, and driven Butchers to join our Team in our expanding retail & wholesale meat outlet in the New England Region of NSW. With a quality driven team working closely with farmers, producers, and artisan crafters, we select some of our region's best ingredients to celebrate the abundance of beautiful produce the Regional NSW has to offer.

This role will require you to debone, cut, slice, mince, crumb & prepare a variety of protein products. You will be required to work with other staff members to preparing products in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and customer needs.

What we are looking for

• An experienced and skilled butcher with at least 3 years experience who is committed to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Good knife handling skills, cutting techniques and great knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Experience in operating a variety of equipment; mincers, band saw, sausage filing machines and vacuum packaging.
• Good time management and multitasking abilities
• Have a friendly, hardworking attitude and ability to work in a team
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in a leadership position would be beneficial

Qualifications

• Formal butchery qualifications or equivalent relevant experience
