Award winning Gaia Retreat and Spa located in the Byron Bay hinterland has an exciting career opportunity for you to join our Housekeeping Team.

Gaia Retreat & Spa is one of Australia's most awarded boutique lifestyle wellness retreats. We offer a luxurious nurturing space for those wishing to relax, realign and recharge. Located high up in the stunning sub-tropical Byron Bay Hinterland, Gaia boasts magnificent views on 25 acres which includes two kitchen gardens, beehives, resident chickens and an aquaponics system.

The Public Areas role is to ensure that guests receive an exceptional experience during their stay from check in to check out. This role requires a strong background in domestic and/or commercial cleaning as you will be responsible for all public areas such as restaurant, retail store, yoga and fitness studios.

Keys skills & attributes:

· At least 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role ideally in a hospitality environment

· Ability to work 6am to 11am Monday and Tuesday with flex for additional days and shifts to assist in housekeeping

· Excellent organisational and time management skills.

· Ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing work tasks and deliver to agreed deadlines.

· Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills.
