The Opportunity – Finance Allrounder

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Allrounder to join our Finance team. This newly created role will provide essential support across a broad range of finance functions, ensuring the smooth operation of EPIC's financial systems and processes.

Based within our Finance team, you'll work collaboratively to deliver accurate and timely financial services, with a strong focus on accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, payroll support, and funding claims.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) covered under the SCHADS Award (Level 4).

What You'll Be Doing

  • Processing and managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Preparing and completing bank reconciliations.
  • Providing payroll support to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Following up on funding and claiming queries in a timely manner.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes.
  • Assisting with preparation of reports and maintaining accurate records.
  • Embracing and adapting confidently to new systems and processes.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of finance operations.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You Have:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance role.
  • Strong experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support.
  • Proficiency with MYOB and confidence working across finance systems.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to adapt and embrace new systems confidently.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in the not-for-profit or community services sector.
  • Familiarity with the SCHADS Award or similar industrial instruments.
