Group Accountant
to join our high-performing finance team in Sydney CBD.
This is not just another accounting role – you'll be the go-to subject matter expert for
IFRS16 lease accounting and Capex
, play a key role in
SOX compliance
, and lead process improvements that shape how we work. With exposure across our diverse business and strong global backing, this role is a true career builder.
What You'll Do
- Own the month-end close and drive accuracy in financial reporting.
- Lead on IFRS16 lease accounting and act as the Capex accounting specialist.
- Support SOX testing and external audit requirements.
- Partner with senior leaders, IT, and Transformation teams to ensure budgets and forecasts are on track.
- Drive automation and process improvements across finance.
- Provide expert accounting guidance, training, and support to the wider business.
What You'll Bring
- CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years' financial accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and compliance.
- Experience in statutory reporting, audit, and treasury support.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
- A proactive, collaborative, and solution-focused approach.
