We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Wholesale Manager to join our team at Midland City.

The role will involve providing direction to buyers, maintaining vehicle inventory, overseeing purchasing of vehicles and wholesaling. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining business partnerships to achieve strong results and profitability.

Who we are:

Midland City is comprised of 4 manufacture dealerships. Midland City are part of the Autoleague group, a national innovative and forward thinking automotive group with 28+ dealerships across Australia.

You will be joining WA's fastest growing car dealership which has recently won the Large Business of the Year Award 2023 and New Large Business Award at Swan Business Awards 2023.

The Role:

  • Identify, source, and purchase wholesale vehicles through auctions, trade-ins, and other channels while maintaining profitability.
  • Effectively manage the wholesale vehicle inventory
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with wholesale clients, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Accurately appraise wholesale vehicles
  • Oversee a team of buyers, leading and providing training and guidance.

YOU:

  • Understanding of used vehicle operations, buying criteria and decision-making processes
  • Financially astute with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • A natural leader, mentor and developer of staff with focus, passion and determination
  • Ability to manage used car stock, purchasing and valuations, ensuring profit is maximised and a positive return on stock investment
  • A strong work ethic with the confidence and enthusiasm to motivate and drive the team to achieve targets
  • Current C Class drivers' licence
  • Previous experience in an Assistant Manager position, Automotive Buyer and/or Sales Consultant is essential
