Role: SAP BTP Consultant

Location: Sydney

Job Description:

  • Design and Development: Create and deploy modern SAP applications using the ABAP RAP framework, building applications on SAP BTP.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize key RAP components such as CDS views, behavior definitions, service bindings, ABAP, OData, and Fiori Elements to build applications.
  • Integration: Ensure smooth integration of BTP applications with other SAP and enterprise systems.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize and tune the performance of SAP BTP applications for high availability and reliability.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain clear documentation for SAP BTP solutions and processes.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience with SAP RAP: Proven experience with the ABAP RAP Framework, including managed and unmanaged scenarios, ABAP RESTful programming, and event handling.
  • SAP BTP Knowledge: Strong understanding and experience with SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • Core SAP Technologies: Expertise in ABAP, CDS views, OData, Annotations, and Fiori Elements.
  • Cloud-Native Development: Experience with cloud-native development, cloud extensibility, and clean core strategy is often a plus.

Tools: Hands-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Visual Studio Code for deployment.
