As our Security Engineering Specialist reporting to the Head of Security Engineering, you will be responsible for implementing, uplifting and maintaining security platforms, technologies, tools and internal processes
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will ensure our continuous protection from cyber threats.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Research, evaluate, and select new security platforms and controls to address evolving threats and vulnerabilities
- Assist with building and testing of new security solutions.
- Identify and implement improvements for existing security tools and platforms
- Work closely with IT operations, security analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure security controls are aligned with business needs
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of all security tools.
- Ensure the implementation of security controls aligns with enterprise architecture, engineering, design, and assurance requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in security engineering or a related role
- Strong understanding of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS Controls).
- In-depth knowledge of security tools and technologies, including but not limited to.
- SIEM and SOAR platforms, ideally experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM.
- Endpoint Detection and Response tools, ideally experience with CrowdStrike Falcon.
- Vulnerability Management platforms, ideally experience with Tenable.
- Familiarity with or experience in leveraging AI for security purposes is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field
