What's so exciting about this role?
We are seeking a UX Designer to help craft seamless and engaging digital experiences across websites, mobile apps, and internal platforms. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user interfaces that are both functional and visually consistent. From wireframes and prototypes to design systems and templates, you'll balance hands-on design work with championing user-centred practices. You will play a key role in ensuring our products are accessible, intuitive and aligned with both business goals and user expectations.
What Does An Average Day Look Like?
No day is average at humm but here's an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:
- Support UX team, Web Developers and Product Owners across varied digital projects, including UX design, development, testing and training for web, mobile, and application interfaces.
- Engage with the Product, Technology, Sales, and Marketing teams to solve problems at scale and define and enable the best solutions to support our performance and growth plans.
- Design static and interactive interfaces using design tools.
- Test across browsers and devices to ensure the UI is functional and optimised following UX and digital best practices and design principles.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design intent
Who will thrive in this role?
You have a strong interest in designing usable, visually engaging and high-quality experiences.
We're also looking for someone who brings:
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Figma (must have), Lucidchart, Adobe CS, Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq or other design and wire framing tools
- You have excellent interface design skills and a strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
- You are able to flesh out an initial design concept from wireframe, to low fidelity prototype, high fidelity prototype and working prototype.
- Have a high attention to detail and quality.
- Demonstrated experience across both Websites, Android, and IOS platforms.
- Experience with managing simultaneous projects, specifically website-related with requests, new requirements, management of tasks and backlog activity.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development highly desirable.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence (highly desirable)
