Are you a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist/Myotherapist looking for flexibility and premium pay?

We are a thriving mobile allied health clinic located in Victoria. We are deeply dedicated to provide exceptional massage therapy services tailored specifically for our diverse elderly clientele across Australia.

We are currently seeking motivated Female Remedial Massage Therapist or Myotherapist to join our clinician team to work in the local LGA's of Greater Melbourne and Regional Victoria mainly the North-East area and regional/remote areas.

Massage therapist or confident new grads looking to earn more, work independently on a flexible schedule.

Your Role:

You will provide massage therapy services in a variety of settings—hospital, aged care, community depending on the placement.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a friendly back office team to ensure the smooth service delivery and contribute to the well-being and recovery of our elderly clients.

As a Remedial Massage Therapist, your primary objective will be to provide therapeutic soft tissue massage aiming to alleviate pain and enhance their overall well-being. A profound understanding of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques is crucial for this role. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, empathy, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough client assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.

Provide skilled soft tissues massage for pain relief, to restore client's physical function and to promote their overall well-being.

Create personalized treatment plans that address clients' specific concerns and goals.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following sanitation standards and protocols.

Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments as needed.

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' conditions, medical histories, and treatment goals.

  • Develop customized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals

  • Document client's pre and post treatment clinical notes after each completed visit.

Requirements:

- In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess the conditions of elderly to perform appropriate assessment, treatments and follow-up.

- Proficiency in a wide range of massage techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue, seated or bed massage, trigger point to meet the specific needs of the clients.

  • Dry needling/Cupping is desired but not essential

Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapist or Myotherapy

  • Membership Association from of MMA or AMT
  • Certificate of Currency
  • Portable massage table/chair massage equipment
  • Current Police Check less than 3yr-old
  • First Aid and CPR
