The HIDPA Support Worker provides specialised, high-quality support to participants requiring High Intensity Daily Personal Activities under the NDIS. This role involves assisting people with complex health needs and significant functional impairments, delivering supports that ensure safety, dignity, and independence while following approved care plans and clinical direction. Responsibilities include performing high intensity tasks such as complex bowel care, enteral feeding, tracheostomy support, catheter management, ventilation support, seizure management, and other delegated health procedures, in accordance with participant needs and organisational policies.

HIDPA Support Workers report directly to the Team Leader (or Clinical Team Lead where required) for direction, escalation, and performance oversight. They are expected to work collaboratively with participants, families, and allied health professionals, maintaining accurate documentation and strictly following incident and risk management protocols.

This position requires completion of Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent, with additional training in High Intensity Supports (aligned with NDIS Commission requirements). Substantial experience in disability or community care, particularly with complex health needs, is highly desirable.

Workers must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Worker Screening, and any specialised HIDPA competency training are mandatory.
