RAMS provides airport management services to regional airport owners. Our team has over 75 years' experience in airports and we'd love to see solutions-based thinkers join us in delivering airport operations and supervisory functions at regional airports.
About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Aircraft Refueller to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. This opportunity has arisen due to a team member being temporarily unavailable.
As an Aircraft Refueller you are responsible for refuelling services provided to all aircraft on the facility. You are required to operate a full Bridger delivery service for an on airport based depot and into plane refueling services. To be considered for this role you must have proven experience and effective process management are essential for role.
You will be responsible for managing resources, issues, risks and work health and safety while operating this service. You will be expected to work as part of the Regional Airport Management Service team and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

- Roster: 2-week swing (15 on/13 off)
- Hours: 76-hour fortnight, 9.5 hours per day
- Work location: Port Hedland Airport

- Operate a full Bridger delivery service.
- Switching B738, A320 and F100.
- Refuelling helicopters and general aviation aircraft.
- Actively participate in actual emergency responses as per the AEP and TSP as well as emergency exercises and procedures.
- Minor maintenance to trucks and fuelling systems.
- Management of stock control procedures, including downloading of PDA information into the stock control system.
- Ongoing dips & quality control checks of tanks and trucks.
- General maintenance of the fuel depot and office.
- Continued professional development in line with AirBP training requirements.
- Continued compliance with Airport Operator requirements.
- Deliver sound customer service when dealing with airport & aviation stakeholders
- Conduct safety site inductions and observations.
- Proven experience operating a full Bridger delivery service.
- Proven experience switching and fuel delivery to B738, A320, F100, helicopters and general aviation aircraft.
- Proven experience in quality control & stock management of a regional airport fuel depot.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
- Must have valid working rights in Australia
