About the role

GIG Radiology Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team in Rosebud, VIC on a contract basis. As a Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients. What you'll be doing

• Performing a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal scans
• Accurately capturing and interpreting ultrasound images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions
• Maintaining detailed patient records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Ensuring the proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment
• Adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified Sonographer in a healthcare setting
• Excellent technical skills and proficiency in a wide range of ultrasound techniques
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities to accurately interpret ultrasound findings
• Effective communication skills to liaise with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining professional standards
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities
