About the Centre/Service

Miners Rest Kindergarten, established in 2015, is a sessional kindergarten proudly managed by the Miners Rest Primary School Council. Conveniently located next to Miners Rest Primary School, just 10km northwest of Ballarat, our kindergarten offers a unique year-round transition program through regular school visits, supporting a smooth and confident start to primary education. Our purpose-built facility features two well-equipped rooms and delivers a fully funded 15-hour-per-week program for both 3- and 4-year-old children. At Miners Rest Kindergarten, we are a proud Child Safe Organisation, committed to providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for every child. We prioritise children's wellbeing, actively work to prevent harm and abuse, and promote cultural safety for all.

Work Days of the Role

Session/Contact Times: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm Non-Contact Time: 30 minutes before & after each session (required) 2.75 hrs of additional planning time (flexible) Staff Meetings: 0.5hrs (attendance required)
