Assistant Centre Administration Officer, Clerk Grade 1/2, St Heliers Correctional Centre

  • Temporary and Ongoing Full Time positions available
  • Clerk Grade 1/2, Salary ($75,727 - $82,328), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

Corrective Services NSW requires an Assistant Centre Administration Officer to join a vibrant team at the St Heliers Correctional Centre. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to a Correctional Centre, and your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Accurate data entry
  • Customer service
  • Electronic filing and archiving
  • General administrative team tasks
  • Arrange daily courier services, mail pick-up/delivery, and distribution
  • Procurement, including purchase order creation and receipting as required
  • Payment for goods and services with Pcard
  • Assist with stores and asset management as required
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
  • All miscellaneous tasks as required in accordance with the capabilities of the role

What we're looking for

We currently have two roles available. One will have a focus on PA duties and will work closely with the Governor and Management Team. The other will be more aligned to the description above. To be successful for either role, you will display integrity at all times, be a true team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will maintain confidentiality at all times whilst utilising your proven experience and knowledge to meet the demands of this role effectively. Resilience, initiative, high attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to work under pressure are the key attributes to succeed in this fast-paced role.

  • Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW
