Meat Processing Workers Needed

Heathwood, Queensland, Australia Programmed Skilled Workforce Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Start, operate, and shut down machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor machinery to ensure it runs smoothly during the shift.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and report mechanical issues to maintenance teams.
  • Conduct changeovers between different product batches or packaging formats
  • Handling raw meats such as pork, lamb beef
  • Working in a pre-packed meat processing facility
  • Onsite training provided

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Food or meat handling exposure is desirable but not essential
  • Willing to work within a cold room environment (7 degrees)
  • Willing to work with raw meat products (beef, lamb & pork)
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work within a team-based environment
  • Ability to provide proof of working rights in Australia
