Sire Foreman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead a team on a luxury multi storey residential project on the Gold Coast.

As the Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of the project while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with construction program, plans, specifications, and all OH&S and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials and services
• Develop monthly lookahead program and monitor project progress, including tracking milestones, budgets, and schedules, and providing regular reports to senior management
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any buildability and/or OH&S issues or concerns arising during construction
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address design changes, resolve conflicts, and maintain effective communication throughout the project

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a General Foreman in the construction industry, with a focus on luxury residential builds
• Cert III in Carpentry (not essential but preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, even under pressure
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in using construction management software and Microsoft Office tools
• Proficiency and willingness to undertake limited, skilled manual work onsite where shortfall in subcontracting or rated works exists
