Royal on the Park is currently seeking a casual Kitchenhand.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have previous experience as a Kitchenhand preferably within a busy multi outlet environment. You will have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of team. Full availability over a 7 day rotating roster is nice to have.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Chef, our Kitchenhands are responsible for ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently whilst adhering to strict food safety regulations.

Tasks include:

  • Work as a team member within the Kitchen and service team assisting in washing crockery, cutlery and other cooking equipment.
  • In accordance with government regulations you will ensure that all cleaning and sanitising is adhered to, this includes the compactor, recycling area, bench tops, refrigerators and storerooms.
  • Ensure the correct handling and cleaning of all equipment.
  • Assist the department with food preparation, storage and rotation.
  • Ensure that quality food control standards are maintained as outlined within the Kitchen's policies and procedures.
