About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for 2 skilled full time Electricians at our Scone Plant. We are seeking a passionate, energetic individual who is committed to providing effective professional service. This role is responsible for providing electrical maintenance across the plant where required. This is a full-time position with the potential to earn $76, $90,000 or more with additional allowances and/or overtime. Wages are paid according to organisational EBA-Industrial Agreement.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Ensure the availability, reliability and capability of the plant assets
Monitor, follow up and address issues associated with the implementation and progress of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks
Continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems
Communication with management in relation to equipment and maintenance issues
Understand and implement quality control techniques
Proactive approach in the implementation of preventative maintenance
Be actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair
About you:
An electrical trade qualification is essential
Two (2) years' min experience in maintenance/repair in a fast paced manufacturing environment would be a strong advantage
A thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices
Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures
Able to demonstrate integrity and a professional work attitude
Highly developed time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work shift work including rotating roster, day and afternoon shift.
