Are you ready to shape the next generation of Emergency Nursing and lead transformative research at a global scale?
Griffith University and Gold Coast Health are seeking a visionary leader to drive innovation, education, and research in Emergency Nursing through a prestigious joint professorial appointment.
In this position you will provide leadership in the critical examination of current trends and evidence-based practice in Emergency Care, and related implications for research, education and practice. Within this position you'll have access to world-class facilities, research support services, and a thriving network of interdisciplinary collaborators.
This is a full time, fixed term appointment for five (5) years based on the Gold Coast, split between Griffith University and Gold Coast University Hospital. It is expected that the successful candidate will be available to attend both sites in person as a normal requirement of the role.
Salary Range
The base salary for Professor (Level E) is $215,130 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total FTE package will be $251,702 per annum.
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated and extensive commitment to higher education and Nursing. In addition, the successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Possession of a doctoral qualification or equivalent professional experience in nursing or a relevant field.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered nurse, to be active and maintained for the duration of the appointment.
- An extensive track-record in the ability to attract external competitive research funding, to supervise research students and to build and lead multidisciplinary research teams in Emergency Care.
