This is a FIFO position based in Mackay QLD

About the role

We are seeking a number of enthusiastic Directional Drillers and Drill Trackers and/or locators to work with our team serving Tier 1 utility companies. Works will be carried out across mining, civil and regional councils providing directional drilling, pit and pipe installation, service locating and civil construction.

The position will include (but not limited to) the following

  • Horizontal Directional Drilling around services
  • Installation of bore pipe
  • Operating various items of plant
  • Assist with ensuring our company services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner
  • Willing to undertake work on Mine Sites in the Bowen Basin and across Mackay and Surrounds
  • Be available for on-call/ rostered work at night and on weekends when required

Suitable candidates will possess the following

  • Experience as a Directional Driller, Drill Tracker or Service Locator
  • Current HR Truck licence
  • Current blue/white safety construction induction card
  • Positive disposition and can do attitude
  • Be enthusiastic, reliable & dedicated to providing customer service
  • Have pride in maintaining a high standard of plant, equipment & vehicle maintenance & cleaning
