About The Team
The Strategic Planning team is at the centre of city shaping projects such as the Suburban Rail Loop, development of an Employment Land Use Strategy and implementation of the Kingston Green Wedge Management Plan as well as planning for and managing unprecedented population growth across the city.

About This Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Strategic Planner to join our team. In this role, you'll be involved in transformative city-planning initiatives that directly impact urban development, sustainability, and community well-being.

Other Responsibilities Include

  • Manage and provide support on a variety of strategic planning projects
  • Oversea Planning Scheme Amendments
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders including government, community organisations and groups

What You'll Bring

  • Sound knowledge of planning principles to successfully develop and implement strategic initiatives
  • A tertiary qualification in town planning or a closely related discipline
  • Expertise and demonstrated experience in a planning role
  • Employee Working with Children check
  • Valid Victorian Drivers License
