Your Choice of Role
We understand flexibility matters — that's why we're offering three exciting ways to join our medical team:
- Permanent On-Site General Practitioner
• Based in Katherine or one of our remote communities
• Deliver face-to-face care and build long-term relationships with community members - Hybrid Telehealth GP (FIFO Model)
• Mix of on-site rotations and Telehealth weeks
• Ideal for those seeking balance between hands-on care and lifestyle flexibility - Telehealth GP
• Work remotely from anywhere in Australia
• Provide vital ongoing care and support to remote NT communities
Rates are variable based on experience and on-site commitment.
What You'll Do
• Deliver high-quality, culturally safe primary healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
• Collaborate with nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, and care managers
• Facilitate accurate Medicare claims to support ongoing funding
• Contribute to health promotion, data reporting, and continuous quality improvement
What You'll Bring
• FRACGP or FACRRM
• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience in rural, remote or Aboriginal health (highly regarded)
• Knowledge of Medicare billing processes
• NT Working with Children (Ochre) Card and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid and driver's licence
• Commitment to cultural safety and community-centred care
