The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role is responsible for preparing and despatching international shipments for the Commercial Trading Division (CTD). You'll ensure all export documentation is completed accurately, coordinate pickups with freight forwarders, and maintain shipment and stock records. This position also supports general warehouse operations when required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm order ETAs and prepare goods for export.
- Pick, check and pack goods per documentation.
- Complete international shipping paperwork including packing slips, Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI), and Lithium Battery Declaration (if applicable).
- Coordinate pickups with international freight forwarders and communicate with customers regarding Proof of Delivery (PODs) and delivery instructions.
- Maintain shipment records and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documents for dangerous goods.
- Follow pick slips to ensure accurate picking and location tracking.
- Double-check invoicing against packing slips and select the correct freight carrier based on customer preference.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, investigate stock discrepancies, and assist with stock write-offs where required.
- Support Melbourne warehouse operations including inwards goods, local orders, container stock, and customer credits.
You Will Have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Experience dealing with international freight forwarders.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Valid forklift licence preferred.
- Dangerous Goods certificate preferred (otherwise, will be required to complete Dangerous Goods course in time).
- Ability to prioritise and good time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience using Pronto software preferred.
- Interest in technology or IT-related products.
