The role of Non-executive Director will provide independent oversight and expertise, at Board level, in relation to ensuring the organisation's financial sustainability and strategic direction. Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Board Governance
- Financial Oversight
- Strategic Planning
- Risk Management
- Committee Involvement
- Performance Monitoring
- Advocacy and Sector Leadership
- Ethical and Cultural Leadership
This is a part-time role (2 days per month) that requires attendance at 12 Board meetings and four resident and relative meetings per year, along with the associated preparation.
You will be an experienced Board Director with a degree in finance, economics, or other related fields, with professional membership or accreditation (e.g. CPA, CA, CFA). You will have extensive experience in financial management and strategic planning, ideally within the aged care and for-profit sectors, as well as a strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulatory frameworks and contemporary issues facing the aged care sector.
Salary of $60,000 plus superannuation.
