This is a pivotal growth opportunity with a premium, founder-led professional services firm that works with Australia's most complex and demanding organisations to solve leadership, commercial, and organisational challenges at scale.
Are you a relationship-driven sales professional who sees business development as strategic advisory work—not transactional selling? In this role, you'll own enterprise client relationships, lead commercial conversations, and shape tailored solutions—while world-class facilitators and delivery teams execute programs with precision and impact.
The Scope
- Build and manage a portfolio through enterprise client acquisition and strategic account expansion.
- Lead commercial conversations with HR Directors, L&D Heads, Sales Leaders, and C-suite executives across financial services, telecommunications, infrastructure, professional services, and government.
- Collaborate with the facilitator team to craft tailored proposals and learning solutions—no cookie-cutter pitches, just intelligent client-led design.
- Strategic Partnership as the trusted learning partner for under-resourced internal teams navigating complexity, restructures, and rising expectations.
- Reports To Co-Founders, Collaborative commercial and delivery team with full ops and marketing support
To succeed
- A proven B2B sales performer (5+ years) selling consultative, high-value services into HR, L&D, or organisational development—ideally across learning design, HR technology, consulting, assessments, or employee engagement sectors.
- You've built relationships from the ground up, not just inherited them—consistently delivering revenue outcomes in environments where commercial judgement and client trust matter more than rigid process.
- You lead with curiosity, not a pitch deck. You diagnose before you prescribe, ask incisive questions, and co-create solutions that solve real problems—because client success drives your commercial success.
- Commercially disciplined, humanly intelligent. You're revenue-focused and target-driven, but you win deals through credibility, insight, and genuine rapport—not high-pressure tactics.
- Comfortable at every level. Whether you're presenting to a CEO, workshopping with an L&D Manager, or navigating a multi-stakeholder buying committee, you bring executive presence without pretence—reading the room and adapting on the fly.
- A self-starter who thrives on autonomy and accountability. You don't need hand-holding. You follow through relentlessly, keep your pipeline moving, and take full ownership of your results in high-trust, low-bureaucracy environments.
- A team player who values craft. You respect the expertise around you—collaborating seamlessly with delivery teams, operations, and marketing to ensure every solution you sell is executed with quality and integrity.
