WE'RE HIRING Casual Support Worker

We're looking for a fun, energetic, caring and reliable Support Worker to support some of our young clients.

  • Supports based in Karuah, NSW - main office located in Maitland, NSW
  • Must be available a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Immediate start

We have 3 shifts available at this stage:

Wednesday afternoons 2pm - 6:15pm

2x weekday mornings 9am - 12pm (days are negotiable but must be either Wed, Thurs or Fri)

You must have the following:

  • an interest in the outdoors and all outdoor activities - think skatepark trips, fishing, bike riding, swimming etc

  • be energetic and happy to be on the go most of the time

  • be able to have a laugh and create a fun environment

  • your own car that can accommodate a wheelchair, if needed

Essential criteria:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Working With Children Check

  • Current First Aid Certificate

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Own reliable transport and valid drivers licence

  • Professional, non-judgemental and open-minded attitude

  • Reliable and keen to work

  • Ability to work independently and respectfully in clients homes

Qualifications in the industry are highly desirable.

There is potential for additional hours and more support work in the future for the right person as our team and client needs grow.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
